I help people break through negative patterns of thinking to improve their mood and experience joy in their life and relationships.

Alison McKleroy, Oakland Therapist

I'm passionate about teaching highly effective cognitive and mindful methods, as well as communication skills, so people can continue to transform breakdowns into breakthroughs with confidence, long after therapy has ended.

I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I've been helping people as a therapist for over 12 years.

I have a Master of Arts degree from Notre Dame de Namur University. I've trained extensively in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), David Burns, M.D.'s TEAM Model, Art Therapy, Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.

I'm a speaker and facilitator in the following areas: Neuroscience of Well-being, Art Therapy, Stress, Compassion Fatigue, and Nonviolent Communication.  www.ArtTherapyTrainings.com
